HATIX makes mobile - The Harzer Urlaubsticket (HATIX) entitles the holder and other listed persons to travel free of charge in the registered period of validity after payment of the guest fee.
The HATIX is valid on public bus and tram lines in the Goslar and Harz district as well as selected lines in the Südharz and Göttingen districts.

How is the Tourist Information Office equipped, what is the offer of free brochures, what service is offered to me and what are the qualifications of the staff? These issues are addressed, among other things, in the test procedure of the i-brand of the German Tourism Association.
With regard to service quality Germany, a plan of measures to improve service quality is drawn up and implemented by the Tourist-Infos. Companies that have been awarded the “Q” are particularly customer-oriented companies, for whom competent and friendly service is of great importance and which constantly set new quality standards for continuous development.
The tourist information centres Braunlage, Hohegeiß and Sankt Andreasberg have repeatedly been awarded the i-brand by the German Tourism Association and the Service Quality Germany Level 1.
With the additional award of “Resin Information”, the Tourist-Info Braunlage meets the demand to know the range of offers in the region and to be able to advise beyond the city limits.
Car Electric Charging Station

As soon as they were installed, they were already in use. It was not locals who used the charging station to get electricity for their cars, but guests. This is gratifying for the mayor and for those involved in spreading electromobility.

Since spring 2020, a charging station for your e-bike is available at the Tourist Information Hohegeiß and Sankt Andreasberg.
