    Air health resort & recreation place

     

    The towns of Braunlage and Sankt Andreasberg, located in the middle of the Harz Mountains, are state-recognised climatic health resorts. Hohegeiß is classified as a health resort. This means that our three resorts meet the statutory requirements in terms of their recreational value, appearance and climate.

    Recreational value

    In order to increase the recreational value of the guests, Braunlage, Sankt Andreasberg and Hohegeiß charge a guest fee. This is used, for example, for public leisure facilities, a cultural programme and cleaning and maintenance activities.

    Vacation ticket booklet =guest card

    After payment of the guest fee you will receive a holiday ticket booklet = Guest card. This entitles you to use the free Harzer holiday ticket HATIX and to take advantage of various leisure activities such as guided hikes free of charge. In addition, you get reduced admission to various facilities such as the ice rink in Braunlage.

     

Thanks to your guest card and the coupon booklet, you can visit and use the following leisure facilities in Braunlage, Hohegeiß and Sankt Andreasberg free of charge:

National Park information office in the spa guest centre Braunlage

Children up to the age of 6 years
every second and further child in a family up to the age of 18

Guest card = Harz guest card

The guest card/holiday ticket booklet is also a Harz guest card. The Harz Guest Card allows the holder to take advantage of free or reduced-price services and offers in around 50 Harz holiday resorts. The guest card for Braunlage, Sankt Andreasberg or Hohegeiß is automatically also valid as a Harz Guest Card. You therefore do not receive a separate Harz Guest Card, but your guest card entitles you to use all the services included in the Harz Guest Card.
