- Sturdy shoes
- Weatherproof clothing (change of clothes if necessary)
- The umbrella and the dog stay at home (alpacas need time to get used to a new animal. Strange dogs make them nervous and they might run away).
- Walking is shoulder to shoulder or on the rear end no one has anything to look for
- Alpacas are animals and can be wet and dirty depending on weather conditions
