The kote
It is located about 150m, on the right side, above the Schützenstraße in Braunlage. In 1988, the Köte was built to serve as accommodation for the charcoal burners.
The charcoal burners stayed there for about 3 weeks every year, and a charcoal burner festival was celebrated every year. After the Köte had not been used for about 6 years, it has been restored in 2018 and has served as a natural healing practice since 01.12.2018.
