The route leads through the higher elevations of the Harz mountains near the former German-German border. The tour passes the two highest peaks in the Western Harz. Small detours to the Wurmberg and to the Achtermannshöhe (on foot), and the Hahnenkleeklippe with its imposing view over the Oder valley deep below are worthwhile. Short trail sections have no technical difficulty.

The route leads through forests and moors to the higher altitudes of the Harz National Park. Larger and varied round trip without steep climbs. A detour to the Achtermannshöhe (on foot) is recommended. At the Oderteich, which was the largest dam in Germany until 1898, there is a beautiful root trail and bathing opportunities.

The mountain-valley tour in the high altitudes leads through the protected forests of the Harz National Park and past traditional excursion inns and places steeped in legend. Large round-trip tours for cross-country riders with a high proportion of gravel and steep climbs. Three trail sections with town crossings through St. Andreasberg and Braunlage give the tour a varied character.

The strenuous day tour takes you to the highest altitudes of the Harz. The mountain-valley tour leads from Braunlage over the Wurmberg to the Brocken and on to the Eckertal dam. From there it goes via Torfhaus past the Achtermannshöhe (cut-off on foot) past back to the starting point. The route includes steep ascents on asphalt and a rough descent from the Brocken on a flagstone path. There are often many hikers in the area of the Brocken, so start as early as possible

The tour leads west of Hohegeiß around the Ebersberge. It is an easy round trip with a longer ascent. A single trail leads around the Ebersberg. Many hikers are out and about at the Dicke Tannen nature monument, especially at weekends.

The route leads through forests and mountain meadows around the Ebersberge. It’s a Cross-country tour without longer climbs. Overall, there are easy trail sections. On the way to the Wolfbachtal, you’ll pass through a forest with a primeval forest-like character. In the north-eastern part of the tour, the trail runs along the former German-German border.

The short tour leads uphill and downhill through dense coniferous forest to the higher altitudes of the Harz National Park to many viewpoints and through high moors. It’s a round-route around the large and small Sonnenberg, partly along the Rehberger Graben. A technically demanding plank trail between Oderteich and Sonnenberg (dangerous in wet conditions). There are swimming opportunities at the Oderteich, many hikers are also on the move there in good weather. Special signposting in the Harz National Park.

The half-day tour leads uphill and down to the Triangular Stake and allows a good insight into the typical Upper Harz nature. It is a challenging, but rarely steep route. A technically demanding plank trail between Oderteich and Sonnenberg (dangerous in wet conditions). There are swimming opportunities at the Oderteich, many hikers are also on the move there in good weather. Special signposting in the Harz National Park.

The half-day tour leads up into the Hochharz.  A mountain and valley tour, which combines many scenic highlights in the Upper and Upper Harz. There are swimming opportunities at the Oderteich. In addition, there is also a challenging trail there. A detour to the Achtermannshöhe is recommended in good weather (the last part on foot), where you can enjoy a great view over the Harz.

The route leads down into the deciduous forests of the southern Harz. It is a tour with longer and steeper ascents and corresponding descents. There is a trail at the beginning and end of the tour. The small Engelsburg ponds on the Großer Oderberg are remnants of mining from the 17th century and are today an important biotope.
