Braunlage Tourismus Marketing GmbH is letting the witches and devils loose in the mountain town of St. Andreasberg.
The Andreasberg witches and devils will get residents and guests in the mood for Walpurgis on 29 April.
On the "Hexenlicht" adventure hike, young and old explore the secret paths of the mountain town together with the Annerschbarricher Hexenzirkel. Afterwards, all guests can fortify themselves with a small snack.
On the afternoon of 30 April, the "Walpurgis for Kids" begins with the opening of the stalls on the meadow in front of the Kurhaus in St. Andreasberg. Here, the young witches and devils can have their faces painted for the witches' parade. Demonstrations, hellish goings-on, the parade from the Glockenberg through the town in the evening and performances round off Walpurgis for kids in the Kurpark.
The Walpurgis celebration starts at 8 pm in the Kurhaus Sankt Andreasberg.
Listen to live music and experience dance performances by the Annerschbarrich witches' coven. Another highlight is the play "Die Walpurgisnacht" ("Walpurgis Night") based on Goethe's Faust at 11.00 pm.
On 1 May, the "devilish entrance" into the underworld of the Samson mine begins at 10 am. Afterwards, the Waldarbeiter Instrumental Musikverein e.V. will ensure a good atmosphere and a successful start to May on Gaipelplatz.
