General information

Directions

Starting point is the monument of Pope Clemens II at the "Marienkirche" in the town centre in Hornburg. We follow the "Marktstraße" and the "Schlossbergstraße", away from the old town. Turn right into "Osterwiecker Straße" and then turn left at the end of town into a path. This leads us in its course on the ridge route of the "Kleiner Fallstein". Here we come through the partly still existing border installations to Saxony-Anhalt. Going straight, we will soon see the towers of St. Stephanie's Church in Osterwieck. Above the town, we turn right and walk down the "Kirchbergsweg", into the town. In the town centre, we reach our destination, the St. Stephanikirche.
