Germany's unique downhill fun on the Wurmberg: The Monster Roller
The downhill fun on the highest mountain in Lower Saxony, 971 m above sea level, the Wurmberg, is the Monster Roller: an oversized, stud-tired "pedal scooter" with disc brakes guarantees the ultimate kick for young and old.
The Monster Roller is handed out after a briefing by our qualified staff, then you go up the mountain with the Wurmberg cable car and after putting the helmet, the ride begins. During the 5 kilometer long mostly natural descent you bridge 411 meters of altitude between mountain and valley.
The Monster Roller rental station is located in our blockhouse directly on the large parking area in Braunlage next to the valley station of the Wurmberg cable car.
The season is from the end of April to the beginning of November.
No scooter operation in case of strong wind, storm, heavy rain or thunderstorm.
Children are allowed from 10 years.
