Our extensive collection on the history of winter sports in the Harz has led our mountain museum being officially recognized as a FIS Ski Museum by the International Ski Federation.


It is with thanks to Head Forester Artur Ullrichs that Braunlage is the leading winter sports venue in the Harz. With three modern ski-jumps available in the summer and winter, the WSV-Braunlage (winter sports club) has been active since 1892.
